8 months pregnant!

I'm 8 months pregnant today...it's going by so fast! I literally only have 7 weeks until my scheduled c-section. We are getting so excited, and I cannot wait to have her and not be pregnant anymore :) Her room is almost completely finished. We have to hang a couple of shelves and then we're finished. I have washed and put up almost all of her clothes already. But other than that, we are ready for her!

I went to the Dr. this past week and found out that I had actually lost 1 pound. CRAZY! I feel like I eat all the time. She recommended that I up my intake a bit and eat an extra snack everyday..so that's what I'm doing. I have gained 15 lbs, but I feel like I've gained 50. I'm just waiting to blow up! I'm sure it will all hit me at once..everyone says you gain the most towards the end. I'm still walking a few times a week, so that helps keep extra weight off I suppose. Although I haven't gained as much as the Dr. would like at 32 weeks, she is not concerned because Sophia is measuring perfectly. For eight months pregnant I have been feeling great. Besides the expected back aches and occasional cramping I can't complain. Tim and I are so ready for her to be here. I can't wait to get back into shape either! haha.

29 Wk Belly/Nursery Mural/Park

I'm 7 months and 1 week now and definitely feeling like it. We've been painting the mural for about 2 weeks now and almost completely finished. We may add an elephant if there is room after her furniture is set up. Sophia is already so spoiled; it's ridiculous.

The weather has been amazing so we did a 2 1/2 mile walk around the park today. The exercise put Sophia to sleep and wore Molly out :) Enjoy the pics. We love you guys!

5 Months Sonogram

Sorry that it's been so long for an update!! Here are some sonogram photos of....... SOPHIA!!!!!! That's right, it's a girl! Sophia Hayden Rice is still due somewhere around the end of May/beginning of June. During the sonogram Sophia actually yawned twice, once even sticking her little tongue out! =) Also, she was very active. She flailed her arms around so much that her left hand accidentally hit her in the bottom lip. Even the sonographer laughed! Poor thing. Grandma Melissa says we have to kiss her lip first thing after birth! We love you guys!!!
